All Cairn Hidden (Secret) Recipe Locations

Climbing is not the only thing you do in Cairn. You can find Keepsakes like the Frog and Small Windmill or even cook food and drinks which is an important part of survival. While you are free to experiment with ingredients at any bivouac to find new combinations, some recipes are hidden and must be found at specific locations on Mount Kami before you can cook them.

Hidden Recipe scrolls unlock specific combinations you might not discover through experimentation alone. Buffs from food include benefits like Burst (movement speed), Grip (grip strength), Focus (stamina recovery), and Grit (damage reduction).

Super Honey

Where: The Escarpment

Super Honey recipe is found in The Escarpment, a small cave in the crevasse near Bivouac. After you’re done with early climbing gym routes, go toward the pair of cliffs near Bivouac. The Super Honey recipe is on a whiteboard inside a small cave between the cliffs.

The recipe grants Cairn players high Burst buff and other buffs when cooked with honey and gentian.

Tourist-trap Noodles

Where: The Shortcut

Tourist-trap Noodles recipe is in The Shortcut part of the mountain. From the base of the abandoned cable car building, climb the nearby stairs. At the top, you’ll find a reusable box with the Tourist-trap Noodles recipe. This is often the first hidden recipe you’ll reach during the ascent.

Cave-style Trout

Where: The Waterfall

The secret Trout recipe is at the large Waterfall by the Bivouac section of the mountain. Go down the stairs into the main cavern, then to the central island where the fish gather and this is the area where you can pick the Cave-style Trout hidden recipe in Cairn.

Mountain Stew

Where: The Waterfall Area (upper camp)

After you meet with the Shepherdess for the first time, you can find the Pasture Tomatoes recipe in a small storage alcove. The area also has tomato plants and goat milk on some shelves nearby.

Where: The Two Hundred Steps

From the bivouac around this area, follow ledges and jump onto broken wooden paths. A bear-proof box near the tent contains the Maple Fudge recipe.

When you reach the Dome on the mountain, you can locate a Bivouac and an open spring nearby. The Mountain Rice recipe is at this location.
