While exploring Talos-II in Arknights Endfield, your journey progress is halted due to some blocked walls.These blocked walls appear as a glowing red crack emerging from it. To make way to the other side of the wall, you need to solve some puzzles and some require use of industrial explosive bombs.
For the later cases, because all walls are not meant to be blown away, you use the industrial explosives. The in game mechanics are built in such a way that you cannot just get these explosives, but you need to first unlock them and craft them as well in Arknights Endfield. Crafting the explosive part is quite an interesting one for some players!
How To Get Industrial Explosives In Arknights Endfield
The ability to start crafting industrial explosive is introduced as part of the exploration mission “Produce Industrial Explosives” by Andre. Read his message and the side mission will start. To get this mission you need to finish the Project: Refugee Camp I and sub-quest (Lucky Carrot / Restart Area Stock Redistribution I) and have Authority Level 14.
The first step in crafting these explosive is to have access to AIC (Automated Industry Complex) system and its research tree. After reaching the AIC basic II upgrade the Packaging technology that will allow you to start crafting industrial explosives in Arknights Endfield. Also complete research on Solid Filing and Planting system that will help in setting you up an automatic system for unlimited supply of Industrial explosives.
After upgrading the node you must build packaging unit in your base, where you can assemble the explosives. In the Packaging unit you further need two key materials:
- Aketine Powder: Made by shredding raw Aketine plants using a Shredding Unit
- Amethyst Parts: Produced by refining Amethyst ore through Refining and Fitting Units.
Once all required facilities are powered and connected properly, the Packaging Unit will start producing Industrial Explosives, which you can carry in your inventory and use to destroy blocked paths and barriers during exploration.
How to get unlimited Industrial Explosives in Arknights Endfield
Also I was able to crack the arrangement for an unlimited supply of these industrial explosives so you don’t have to worry about crafting manually all the time. Arrange the units in the following way:
No to get an infinite supply of Aketine powder place the arrangements of Planting and Seeding unit in the following way as mentioned in the image. Rotate to get the as it is replica of the image.
- Rotate units so inputs face inward
- Use conveyor splits only at the Seed Picker
- If power is low, add a second Thermal Bank
- This layout comfortably supports 8,000+ explosives stockpiled
How to Use Industrial Explosives
After the crafting process you can access these explosives by using the Quick Tool Menu. To open the Quick tool menu long press R. Make sure to equip them first in your backpack. This will allow the players to quickly switch to explosives any time you want.
Unlocking industrial explosives will give you access to new layer of Talos-II, Endmin.
