Crimson Desert has a big map but it is not fully visible to the player. Like many other games, like Assassin’s Creed, Crimson Desert’s map must be unfogged. In fact, the process is not too far off from Assassin’s Creed games.
There are 8 Bell locations in Crimson Desert and ringing each of these bells clears that part of the map. I highly recommend that you open up the entire map as early as possible. It helps locate different quests, items, and explore areas with fast travel points.
Additionally, each run bell in Crimson Desert counts towards Toll of Pywel questline for the Priorin Forest Guardians faction. Most Crimson Desert bells are available to ring right from the start. But the bell in Pailune becomes available after liberating Pailune in Chapter 7 of the game, and the bell in Caphade becomes temporarily unavailable when you start Chapter 6.
Bell 1: Toll of Hernand
The first bell is pretty easy to find, it is located in the northern section of Hernand town. It is atop a clocktower. Head up the tower and interact with the bell to ring it.
Bell 2: Toll of Scholastone
Inside the pagoda at the end of the garden path in the southwest of the Hernand region. Scholastone is a tower perched on a mountain, and you can reach it by climbing the surrounding peaks. Remember, you can use Force Palm midair up to three times in a row with R3 to launch yourself to higher elevations.
Bell 3: Toll of Calphade
There is a white church in the northern end of Hernand region. The bell is on top of the church but it will not be available during chapter 6. You need to either ring it before or after Chapter 6.
Bell 4: Toll of Demeniss
Go to Demeniss which is the capital region and, in this region, find the tallest clocktower in the city.
To ring this bell you first need to bring it down. Hang from the flagpole on the side of the clocktower. Then climb to the top floor to ring the bell.
Bell 5: Toll of Delesyia
This bell is in Delesyia on a clocktower that is located in the northwest side of town. It is the tower with gears, pipes, and mechanisms on it.
Bell 6: Toll of Tommaso
Another bell is in the Capital of Tashkalp. It is the sandy area and the tower here is also old school.
This is the only tower in the area and it is very easy to spot in the village.
Bell 7: Toll of Varnia
A bell is in the Varina region that is on the northeast end of the Crimson Desert map.
Bell 8: Toll of Pailune
In Pailune, located in the north-west region, head to the center of town and climb the red tower near the docks to ring the bell. This can only be done after liberating Pailune during Chapter 7. Prior to that, the town remains under siege, and the Shai Resident will not appear at bells in hostile areas.
