After completing main quest True Wisdom in Kindness, head to the quest marker on the map and speak with the lady in front of the house. As soon as you approach the house, the chimney cleaner, the woman’s husband, will fall off the roof right in front of you, injuring himself.

There is a long argument between the couple, but you can interrupt by saying that you’ll do it. Next to the main door of the house, there is a broom you can take. Walk over to broom and pick it using the prompted button depending on your platform.

The broom will then land in your inventory and from here you need to equip the broom before starting the cleaning process. The broom needs to be added to the quick items wheel before it can be used.

Open the inventory and move the broom into Kliff’s weapon’s wheel aka quick items wheel.

Now press down on the left D-pad to open the wheel and select the broom to equip it.

You can climb the roof of the house from the front but I recommend going from the back of the house because there is some loot along the way that you can pick up.

Now for the cleaning part, equip the broom and stand on top of the chimney, press L1/LB to aim while standing on the chimney, then press R1/RB to clean it.

Once the chimney is clean, come down from the roof to end the quest.
