Among the many gameplay systems of Crimson Desert is the crafting system. It is pretty much the same as other games, where you must find crafting materials and then craft the item you need. One of the most common crafting items in Crimson Desert is Timber and its variant known as Fine Timber.
Both of these items are used to upgrade wooden items like wood shields.
Timber & Fine Timber Locations
Timber & Fine Timber is acquired from trees. You can get these crafting materials from any tree as long as you can fell it. To do this, you need the Logging Axe and then find a tree to cut down.
The Logging Axe is available from the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand. The price of Logging Axe is 29 coins, and you can buy multiples if you have the money and the axe is in stock.
Once you buy the Logging Axe, go to any tree and press L1+R1 / LB+RB to chop it down. Keep hitting the tree until it goes down and then gather its pieces that are Timber and Fine Timber in Crimson Desert.
Keep in mind that you must keep hitting the tree even after it falls. Keep hitting it with the Logging Axe until you get small pieces of Timber and Fine Timber.
