While staying on Earth as an undercover alien in Roadside Research, your main job is to study humans and lend in. And to study them more you need Alien research points that helps you in getting tech that increase your efficiency. These upgrades can’t be done using the regular in game Buckeroos.
The more you research humans the better you can study them. Here’s all the methods that you can use in Roadside Research to get Alien Points.
Uses Of Research Points
Alien points also referred to as research points are accessible in the alien room on the screen under the Alien folder. When you open it you will see a tree of upgrades branching in two directions, upward and downward.
These Alien upgrades give you new tools like when you unlock Trashcan for 300 alien points it will allow humans to throw their trash you will just have to manually empty it.
How to Earn More Research Points in Roadside Research
There are mainly four-ways through which you can get more Research points or alien points in Roadside Research.
- Trash Processing
- Take Picture Of customers
- Record Humans
- Probe Customers
Trash Processing
Trash processing is one of the easiest and earliest method before you unlock camera to get more alien points in the game.
When humans visit your shop, they throw trash anywhere or in the trashcan if you have unlocked it in the later part of the game.
Either way process that trash in the Trash Scanner that is placed in the alien room.
Take Customer’s Picture
Once you have unlocked camera there is a daily task of capture certain customers with specific details that gets you more alien points in the game. The person that matches the description of the daily task will have a camera sign hovering over him.
Make sure to capture any customer when they are not looking otherwise it will raise suspicion.
Through a prefect picture you can earn up to 135 Research points in Roadside Research.
After getting enough alien points these camera upgrades makes things easier for you:
- Photographic Posing Billboard-customers will pose and can take their picture with their consent
- Photobooth-photos are taken automatically
- Flash-Clearer photo will result in more research points
Record humans
After gathering enough research points fromthe above two methods you will be able to unlock Video recorder. This is almost same as taking picture but this time you will be recording them doing activities.
You will see camera recorder icon on certain activities that will record when humans are doing it like drinking water.
Probe Customers
Lastly, very late in the game you will unlock Prober for 10000 alien points that can gather important human information from within.
With these methods you can start earning Alien Points. But keep in mind that probing and surveillance will most of the time raise suspicion levels. There are steps you can take to lower suspicion when the meter at the top right goes red.
