Crimson Desert’s open world has a ton of loot for you to find. You can get them via boss fights, dungeons, quests, bandit camps, and stealing. One of the weapons you can steal in the game is the Hwando Katana. It is a highly sought after Katana, especially in early game. It pairs well with the Dark Ringleader’s Armor set.
Stealing the Hwando Katana requires a mask because without the mask you can’t commit crimes in the game without getting nailed to the wall.
To get the mask complete the Jeffery Bounty, it is the easiest and fastest way to get it in Crimson Desert if you want it for free. Alternately, you can also purchase it from the Back Alley Shop vendor below Rocca’s Hill in the Pywel. The mask costs 10 Copper Coins.
Go to the Lioncrest Manor

The Hwando Katana is in a building near the Lioncrest Manor. However, the key needed to go into this building is inside the Lioncrest Manor in the Hernand region. It is a posh area so make sure not to cause a chaos here. Going in the night is better for day is fine too as long as you are not seen.

There is an open window at the back of the manor. Climb to steal the key needed to get the Katana. The key in the corner where a candle is lit and there is also a chest in this area. As soon as you loot the chest and take the key, an alarm will go off.
Do no go outside until the alarm is off and there is no one investigating the situation.

To get the Hwando Katana, go inside the building to the right of the Lioncrest Manor. Go in through the closed window (interact to open), avoiding the guards. To your immediate right should be a locked door. Use the key we stole earlier to unlock this door. Keep the key in your inventory to unlock the door automatically.
Inside there is glowing chest, open it to get the Hwando Katana.
