If you’re having a hard time figuring out how to pick up Cargo then you’re not alone. Menace early access players are all having the same feelings about cargo pick ups. During many missions players don’t really see where the Cargo is so basically it doesn’t pop up most of the time so if you’re why I didn’t have any option to grab the cargo, it is not you alone.
But worry not, whether this is a bug or just game design I have figure out a way of picking up cargo in Menace.
How to Pick Up Cargo
Cargo can only be moved by infantry units in Menace. Whenever a cargo shows up on the map select an infantry unit to move it. Here’s the trick, the only way to currently pick up cargo in Menace is to have the cargo icon in the movement line so your unit can grab it successfully.
The whole process is still buggy but this is the way, have the cargo icon in the movement line.
Cargo Vs Loot
There is a different between between Cargo and Loot. Loot is what drops from enemies you kill and it can be seen on the info window. What loot is dropped by enemies is shown at the end of the mission and everything is part of the mission report as well.
Meanwhile, cargo shows an icon over it so you can see its location. Picking up the cargo is currently a problem but with the method explained above you should be able to do this just fine until there is some form of fix from the developers.
