To get secret endings in Code Vein 2, you need to make some decisions like saving Noah, Lyle, Jose and Holly. This optional timeline gives you some extra rewards game’s secret ending that isn’t achieved by every player. Saving Holly is one of the lengthy mission that you will complete in Code Vein 2.

How To Start Holly’s Quest: Reach the Undead Forest Area
How To Start Holly’s Saving Quest in Code Vein 2
There are no specific pre requirements to start the Holly’s saving quest timeline. As it is part of the main story, when you unlock the Undead Forest area and pass through the plagued village. Outside of this plagued village is a Green House. Head inside the Green house to look for Holly’s Cocoon.
Interact with cocoon to start a timeline jump but instead of going into the future somethings happens and you find yourself back in time. You will wake up in the past inside of the sanatorium where you have to speak with Holly.
Get Healing From Holly
Talk to Holly and the quest automatically starts here. This is the first time you’ve met Holly, she is a physician and has the ability to cure. Due to which she will offer to treat you by herself at the Sanatorium.
The Holly will take you to two hot springs and back to the cave hot spring to fight the Resurgence Zealot before continuing.
Meet Liquorice
In the next step of saving Holly, meet Liquorice and travel to three locations at the Undead Forest with her. Those three locations are:
- Forest Complex
- Snowy Amusement Park
- Abandoned Hilltop Church
Each area is quite big, full of enemies and has a final boss which is actually Holly’s Pathos.
After defeating all three Holly’s Pathos you will fight the next boss “Hero Holly the Reaper”. To start the boss fight with Holly the reaper head back to the green house and interact with cocoon. This boss fight isn’t a piece of cake!
Once that is done, this is where timeline shift decision really begins with Holly.
Collect Camilo’s Remnants
Now talk to Monica and she says you need to collect Camilo’s Pathos. After the last boss fight you came to know that your bond with Holly is intertwined with another and that’s Camilo’s. Camilo’s Remnants are found at:
- Ruined Town
- Sanitorium
Simply fight all the enemies in the area to unlock these both two remnants. After getting both the pathos of Camilo, try to mend the Blood Code with Holly.
Activate the Faded Bond
Head back to the Withered Greenhouse again to repair the faded bond by travelling back to the time again. And again everything doesn’t go as planned and another boss fight awaits.
Boss Fight: Retainer of Idris
This boss, Retainer of Idris is a bit tougher than the previous one and it takes a while to bring him down because he only take damage on his tentacles. So it depend on your build, you can choose to hit him from a distance by using bow and arrow. So plan your move strategically when there is an opportunity to hit his tentacles. Defeating him will finally stabilize the timeline.
Chase Camilo & Restore the Sanatorium
Next to save Holly in Code Vein 2, travel back in time properly and head to the Sanitorium where you will meet Holly. Here you must pursue Camilo through the underground labs of the sanitorium before you fight him.
After defeating Camilo, go back to the sanitorium. The sanitorium has been restored and the cocoon outside the entrance is where you will find Holly. Don’t forget to pick up items that are needed to save Jose’s.
Interact with Holly’s Cocoon and fight with her to finally save Holly in Code vein 2.

Inside the restored sanitorium don’t forget to pick up the following items so you can save Jose next to get secret ending in Code Vein 2.
- Lise’s hair ornament
Remember, without this item you can’t save Jose which is another requirement to get the secret ending in Code Vein 2.
