How to start the Quest of Saving Josee
- Complete main story and Defeat Josee the Blind Hero
- Save Holly and get Lise’s Hair Ornament
- Head back to Josee’s Outpost in Sunken City
How to Activate Josee Fading Bond in Code Vein 2
After slaying the hero Josee Anjou, there is a small cutscene that explains of her dying while saving everyone and she went into a frenzy during the process. The cutscene also shows your bond with Josee, upon interaction Lou explains that it’s of no use now because the bond isn’t strong enough to make a jump through time. And you won’t be able to change the outcome for now.
Now to save Josee, follow these steps:
- Get Lise’s Hair Pin by saving Holly
- Head to The Josee’s Outpost and activate the bond
- Find Lise (Josee’s Sister)
- Defeat Gobbo Boss
- Defeat Josse to save her
Once you have Lise’s Hair pin. return to Josee’s Faded Bond and activate it to travel to the past timeline.
When you travel back to sunken city by activating the bond there is fight going on at Josee’s base (outpost). So, head to Jose’s base in the past and a cut scene will appear, and you will know that light of resurgence consumed her so that she can save everyone.
Find Lise (Josee’s Sister)
After the ambush along with Josee where she died stopping Gobbo now your next objective is to find and know what happened to Lise, whose location is not marked on the map. You will wake up in the present after the cut scene. Lou suggested that if we want to save here, we need to find a way in the present and that is trying to find what happened to Lise she might be alive in the present. To find Lise fast travel to Hill Overlooking Clock Tower.
Once you arrive, head to the large tower located southeast of the mistle. Outside the tower entrance, you’ll find a shelter keeper lying on the ground. Speak to her, and she will give you the Shelter Key. Take the key and go inside the tower to find Lise. Her body can be found behind the door.
In the cutscene you will also find out that Lise was working on a device to save Josee. Lou says we should that take this device to Josee before she her frenzy and that way maybe Lise’s love will save her.
Defeat Gobbo Boss to Take Control of the Device
Head back to the Josee’s outpost in the sunken city and go back to past, moments before she dies. This will trigger a cutscene where you will put Lise’s device to her eyes eventually saving her and not going frenzy. Josee will become your companion but will be stuck in the past because of Lise’s Control device taken by Gobbo.
Head to the Bureau’s castle in the undead forest during the 2192 Hero Josee’s Era.
Defeat Alessandro Gobbo with Josee’s assistance and take Lise’s control device.
Defeat Josee to Save Her
Finally, head back to Josee’s Outpost in the Sunken City, where you’ll learn that you also saved Lise by changing the timeline in the past. Josee will then ask you to fight her one last time to ensure the world’s safety, as she has the power to destroy it. Release the seal and defeat her to finally save Josee’s timeline.
