Retro Rewind is one of the cozy store simulators and it is set in the 90s video store. The store is like Blockbuster video and you are the one running it. The selection of movies in the store is huge but not every movie will sell well and also, you’ll often be left with multiple copies of the same movie.
This is where the Clearance Bin comes in. The Clearance Bin (also called the bargain bin or resale bin) lets you sell movies permanently instead of just renting them out, which helps clear space, get rid of duplicates or old stock, and earn some cash.
How to Unlock the Clearance Bin
Keep playing the game and maintain a good customer satisfaction through renting movies etc. until you reach level 10. At this level the Clearence Bin unlocks but you’ll needs to purchase it through the catalogue under the Equipment section in your office.

Purchase the Clearance Bin, it costs around $200. It will arrive at the back of the store (near the delivery area). Place it anywhere accessible to customers—make sure there’s enough space, as it’s larger than the preview image suggests. Position it where customer pathing works well to encourage purchases.
How to Use the Clearance Bin
Once you place the bin in the store, pick up movies you want to sell and throw them in the Clearance Bin ((e.g., duplicates, excess copies of older titles, poorly rated ones, or anything you don’t want to keep renting). You can pick up multiple film copies at the same time and throw them in the bin by approaching and interacting with the bin.
Once in the bin, a clearance price sticker appears on each case (currently set at 50% of the movie’s market value (this was updated in a recent patch from a flat $5 per tape).

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to adjust the price. However, Holographic or special editions may sell for a higher price or have bonuses.
From here you don’t need to do anything. Customers will brows the Clearence Bin and pick up the items they want to buy. Sold movies are gone permanently (no more returns or rentals from them), freeing up shelf space and giving you immediate cash.
If at any point you want a movie to not be in the Clearence Bin, pick it up and place it back on the Rental Shelf. Clearence Bin is best for excess dupes, older films, low rated movies no one is buying. It helps you liquidate stock without waiting for rare rentals.
Place the Clearence Bin in high traffic area to increase chances of sale.
