Forbidden Forest is one of the “Forbidden” spells in Mewgenics. The spell is for the Mage Class and is a powerful, free-to-cast ability that can turn the direction of a tough fight. However, the Forbidden Frost spell comes at a long term cost that you must understand before using it in Mewgenics.
At its base level, Forbidden Forest spell does three things when you use it in combat against regular enemies or bosses.
Forbidden Frost and Forest+ Spell Explained
First, it applies Freeze 2 to every unit on the battlefield except the caster and one other unit of your choice. Freeze is a status effect that restricts movement and action, so applying it broadly can disrupt enemy plans or buy you time to reposition your team. Second, it deals 5 damage to all enemy units present. Third, it heals each allied unit for 5 health as part of the effect. None of these effects cost mana and the spell can be used only once per battle.

If you like using Forbidden Forest spell then getting your hands on the upgrades version should be the goal. If you manage to get the upgrade version of the Forbidden Forest, Forbidden Forest+, the aforementioned numbers will improve.
Forbidden Forest+ does 10 damage to every enemy you target and it fully heals each ally while apply Freeze 2 to most units. But the trade-off here remains the same regardless of level, using a Forbidden spell typically inflicts a permanent negative disorder or debuff on the caster that persists beyond the current battle.

Since the negative affect remains with your cat even after the battle, using this spell should not be a regular thing. Don’t use it in every encounter because the Forbidden Forest is more like a high impact panic button for when the fight isn’t going well and you need a board-wide effect that does damage, locks enemies down, and heals your team in one solid move.
I’d recommend using this spell as a last resort where the benefits outweighs the risk of the resulting debuff.
You can try to minimize the downside by using Forbidden Frost only when a fight is already lost, quitting immediately if the run collapses, or planning around the worst potential disorders.
