Valor Records are special online rewards currency in Nioh 3. This currency is used with the Masterpieces system at the Teahouse. Getting them gets a bit confusing for some players because Valor Records, while mentioned in parts of the game, do not appear in the main story inventory.
Instead, they impact your weapon roll chances when getting gear through Masterpieces. The more Valor Records you apply to a roll, the better your chance of pulling higher-tier weapons (like Exotic) from a Masterpiece pull.
Every Way to Get Valor Records in Nioh 3

To earn Valor Records you need to do online co-op activities. You have two main options:
- Become a Visitor: Enter someone else’s game by joining another player and help them complete missions or defeat bosses in Nioh 3.
- Expeditions: The second method of getting yourself some Valor Records is through expeditions. Team up with at least one other player to explore and finish objectives together.
Each completed session of either of these online co-op modes rewards you with Valor Records. There isn’t currently another way to get them outside of online play, so offline players won’t earn Valor Records until they go online.
How Valor Records Work and Where to Use them

Valor Records are used to increase your chances of getting some Exotic Masterpieces at the Teahouse. So this item really is very useful but since it is online only offline players won’t be able to increase their Masterpiece pull rate.
However, at least you don’t need internet to use them in Nioh 3. Moreover, simply possessing Valor Records won’t guarantee Masterpieces in Nioh 3. But the more Valor Records you use to pull a Masterpiece the better your chances are of getting one.
Once you have Valor Records, visit the Teahouse in Eternal Rift and open the Trade > Masterpieces menu. When rolling for weapons, you can add Valor Records to improve the chance of getting rarer rewards.
