A lot of the gear and weapons you use in Resident Evil Requiem come from crafting recipes. Yes, it might sound weird to a longtime fan just returning to RE with Requiem, but this game comes with a crafting system. You can craft items using blood specimens.
All blood specimens are spread across different location in Rhodes Hill Care Center and Raccoon City. The blood specimens are then put through the analyzer to unlock new crafting recipes in Resident Evil Requiem.
Purple Blood Specimen (Denatured)
Unlocks: Handgun ammo crafting recipe, Hemolytic Injector crafting recipe.
Requirement: None
The first crafting recipe is easy to find. It is inside the Blood Lab and you should come across this as part of the natural progression of the game. Pick up the Purple Blood Specimen from the table inside the Blood Lab.
Take the specimen to the analyzer right next to it to trigger the puzzle.
Analyzer Puzzle Solution
Click on the box highlighted by the red circle to easily solve the Purple Blood Specimen puzzle. You’ll immediately unlock Handgun ammo crafting recipe, Hemolytic Injector crafting recipe in Resident Evil Requiem.
Blood Specimen (Converged)
Unlocks: Med Injector Crafting Recipe, 12.7x55mm ammo crafting recipe.
Requirement: ID Wristband Level 1
The Med Injector crafting recipe and 12.7×55 ammo crafting recipe are behind a locked door in the Waiting Room of the Care Center.
You’ll need the ID Wristband Level 1 to unlock this door. Behind it is a small room with some medical supplies and the Green Blood Specimen.
Take it to the Analyzer in the Blood Lab to start the Analyzer Puzzle.
Analyzer Puzzle Solution
Click on atom 1 and then atom 2 as shown in the image above to solve this Blood Specimen (Converged) analyzer puzzle.
Blood Specimen (Reversable)
Unlocks: Steroids crafting recipe, Stabilizer crafting recipe.
Requirement: ID Wristband Level 1
To unlock the Steroids and Stabilizer recipes in Resident Evil Requiem, go back to the Blood Lab open the locked door leading to the internal room of the lab.
You’ll need an ID Wristband level 1 to unlock the door. Inside you’ll see the Blood Specimen (Reversable) on a table.
There are more items in room so loot before you leave.
Analyzer Puzzle Solution
Covert the atoms in the sequence shown in the image above to solve the Blood Specimen (Reversable) analyzer puzzle.
Molotov Cocktail Recipe
Requirement: Joint Plug
The Molotov Cocktail crafting recipe is found inside the Boiler Room of the Care Center. The door to the Boiler Room is locked you’ll need a Join Plug.
Place the plug in the terminal outside the Boiler Room to unlock it. Inside the Boiler Room is a Zombie who’s easy to take down. The crafting recipe for the Molotov cocktail is in the open case on the table.
Acid Bottle Recipe
Acid Bottle crafting recipe is found in the ARK section of Resident Evil Requiem.
Go to the Monitor Control Room on the ARK and take the recipe from the open case. There is no analyzer puzzles for the final two crafting recipes.
