One of the very early bosses you will fight in Resident Evil Requiem is the Chunk. This guy is a lump of fat that chases you around the Care Center in Rhodes Hill.
If you are playing as Grace in the East Wing, you will eventually be attacked by Chunk after picking up the Level 1 Security Band as part of the main mission. While you can avoid him, it is much easier to eliminate him early. Here is exactly how to do it.
How To Defeat Chunk As Grace
You will find Chunk out the Lead Researcher’s Office. Loot the body there to get ID Wristband Level 1 and as soon as you do, Chunk will jump scare you.
Beating Chunk requires three Hemolytic Injectors. As Grace you need to inject him with three Hemolytic Injectors when he is not looking. Otherwise, he will gran and kill Grace. There is a method to this boss fight but before that you need to craft three Hemolytic Injectors.
Each injector requires:
- 1 Scrap
- 1 Blood Sample
So in total, you need:
- 3 Scrap
- 3 Blood Samples
If you’re looking for Scrap it is found all over the East and West Wing. Meanwhile, Blood Samples are found in the same area, so it is easy to start crafting Hemolytic Injectors.
To beat Chunk, we need to trap him into a loop where he can’t end a certain room and just walks away.
Chunk cannot enter:
- The Examination Room
- The Waiting Room
Run into one of these rooms and you’ll see that he will try to enter through the door but couldn’t. Chunk will then walk away and this is where you need to come out of the room slowly, sneaking behind it and injecting it with Hemolytic Injectors.
You need to repeat the process three times. Each time you inject Chunk, it will turn around and chase you again. All you have to do is quickly run back into the room.
After stabbing him once, create distance and repeat the process. Lure him back to the doorway of the Examination Room or Waiting Room again. Wait for him to fail the attack, turn around, and walk away. Then stab him again.
You must repeat this process three times in total.
After the third successful injector stab, Chunk will die.
