The Square Socket Wrench is one of the quest items in the Care Center basement in Rhodes Hill in Resident Evil Requiem. The item is used to unbolt screws and get access to new areas. The location is pretty simple but requires some navigation to get to.
Square Socket Wrench Location
To reach the Square Socket Wrench in Resident Evil Requiem, you need to unlock the Boiler Room. Insert the first Joint Plug (from the Holding Cells) into the power distributor panel on the north-east side of the map. Doing this will power and unlock the Boiler Room door.

Once you have access to the Boiler Room, move the wooden crate and go through the fence into the Boiler Room. Be aware the corridor is dark and patrolled by the ghostly enemy “The Girl” – take care when passing through.
Inside the Boiler Room you need to find a red toolbox. It is very easy to spot and is open. You just need to pick up the square socket wrench from the toolbox.

The Square Socket Wrench is used to unscrew bolt-covered panels in the Basement area, opening paths that were previously blocked. This can be done at multiple locations.
The Square Socket Wrench can be used to remove the bolt cover from the Power Distribution panel in the Collection Pool area. This gives you access to the panel to insert Joint Plugs and power it up.

Secondly, the wrench is used to on the bolted vent cover in the Workshop, past the Holding Cells. Getting access here takes you to the next room to get the second Joint Plug.
Lastly, in the Processing room (where you later get the Forklift Key), there is a locked door with a “button” panel. The Square Socket Wrench is used on this panel’s bolts. Once removed, you can insert two Joint Plugs into the panel to open the door
