No matter the size of the zombie in Resident Evil Requiem, the Molotov Cocktail will do a ton of damage. Most of the enemies will end up dead, well.. deader than they already are; while bigger zombies get damaged a lot and end up becoming easier targets for Leon and Grace.
In Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) the Molotov Cocktail recipe is not available from the start. You have to find a specific crafting recipe item in the Care Center basement before you can make them yourself.
Where to Get Molotov Cocktail Recipe in RE Requiem
The recipe for Molotov Cocktails is located in the Basement of the Rhodes Hill Care Center. You can only get to this area once you have progressed the story to a certain point in Resident Evil Requiem where you can start exploring the basement.
You need to restore the power to the basement using Joint Plugs on the power console. Once the power is on, a previously locked room Bunkroom opens. Inside that room you’ll find a white briefcase or box on a table containing the Molotov Cocktail crafting recipe.
How to Craft Molotov Cocktails Once You Have the Recipe
After you pick up the recipe you can craft Molotov Cocktails from your inventory crafting menu. The materials required are:
• 1 Empty Glass Bottle
• 60 Infected Blood
You can find empty bottles all over Rhodes Hill Care Center in locations like lockers and containers. Meanwhile, infected blood is marked on your map with red blood pool symbols. One location is the pantry where you can find Infected Blood.
Molotov Cocktails are throwable items that create a fire on impact, useful for crowd control against groups of enemies.
