In Code Vein 2 you can have 3 endings based on the decision you make in the game. Saving Noah is part of the Ending 3: Miraculous Bonds. Saving Noah or not comes early in the game and it shapes the further game play for you. This choice comes right after you get Patho’s Weaving Forma from the Forma Storage Tower. Right after this, Lou gives you a choice whether you save Noah or not, in that conversation there’s no explanation of any pros and cons of the descision.
Out of all three endings in Code Vein 2, the third one requires you will do 4 timeline decision missions and each one will earn you a trophy. The 4 decision making missions are:
- Saving Noah on MagMell-Unlocks Trophy A Bridge to the Future
- Saving Lyle in the Corroded Scar-Unlocks Trophy An Undying Vow
- Saving Holly in the Undead Forest– Unlocks Trophy Life in Full Bloom
- Saving Josée in the Sunken City– Unlocks Trophy A Place of Memories
Should You Go Back To Save Noah in Code Vein 2
When I completed the tutorial part and came back to the present, a choice appears on whether you go back and save Noah or just proceed without it in the game Code Vein 2. Here’s what happens for each choice:
Choice 1: Don’t Save Noah
Once you receive the Forma Storage Tower key from Valentin, you can roam around in the Magwell island if you want to. After you have completed everything you want to at the island its time to return back to the storage tower, leaving Noah behind.
When left alone Noah will die defending the island. If you don’t save him the story will proceed but the rewards and the Franz powerful bloodline won’t be unlocked for you. The level up is required to defeat high end bosses.
Choice 2: Save Noah
Saving Noah isn’t required if you just want to finish the game in first go quickly and is not aiming for the alternate ending 3. You can save him at any point in the game.
When you want to go back to the timeline and save Noah Lavinia, an NPC player will warn you about the consequences of changing the timeline but you can proceed anyway.
You save him by defeating Dejected Assailant. Saving Noah will give you the following rewards
- Offensive Forma
- Battle Axe: Idris’s Conceit
- Superbia Bloodline: Frantz
Saving Noah is the best choice you can make in Code Vein 2. The rewards and the step toward the secret ending is worth the effort.
How to Change Partners
When the partner travelling with you is not determined by the game’s story, you can select revanants with whom you have formed a summoning pact as your part at a mistle. Saving Noah means you can select him as a partner during such section of Code Vein 2.
