So how to use the command console? You need to install a third-party mod but what’s great about this mod that it is just one small file that is really easy to install: even for the novice.

How to Enable the Slay the Spire 2 Dev Console

The command console is unlocked or rather, added to Slay the Spire 2 via a mod called DevConsole. It is a mod by tbonex28b and is available to download from Nexus Mods.

Download the DevConsole mod and unpack the sts2.dll file. Copy and paste this file into the following path in your Slay the Spire 2 installation folder.

  • /steamapps/common/Slay the Spire 2/data_sts2_windows_x86_64

The folder will be inside the drive where you installed Slay the Spire 2. In case you don’t know where Steam has installed the game, go to your Steam library and right click on the game. Select Browse Local Files option and you’ll be taken to the installation folder.

When sts2.dll file is pasted into the folder you’ll be prompted to replace an existing file, click Replace, and you that’s it; now you have enabled the command console in Slay the Spire 2.
