In Crimson Desert, there is a complete portion of the faction quest that belongs to the Witches. Out of all the 22 objectives that you complete in that faction quest, “Wings of Iron” is the last one. The Objective is to Decipher the Records Analyzed by the Witches. White Crow gave you a recipe for Abyssal Fusion to defeat Golden Star, and now you have to craft it by following the recipe.
The interesting part is that there are no clear instructions in the game on what to do next and which materials to gather. As Crimson Desert has a large map to explore, this guide will help you save your time and energy.
How To Craft Abyssal Fusion In Crimson Desert
To craft Abyssal Fusion, you need to find the exact material or the blueprint for it. To get details of the required material, head to Grimnir’s Shop, which you used to make one of the strongest armor in Crimson Desert. Head there, and you can see all the required material to make Abyssal Fusion. The Required materials are:

How to get Small Kuku A.T.A.G.
The first that you will collect is Small Kuku A.T.A.G, and you need to craft it too from Grimnir’s shop. This small KuKu ATAG is part of the factio Ironflames Orcs with the quest name of Pots and Weapons. To comnplete the quest complete the following objectives:
- Talk to Merek: Merek is the artisan who crafted A.T.A.G has discovered something new. After talking to him you will get small Kuku A.T.A.G design.
- Read the note and head back to Grimnir’s Shop to craft Kuku small ATAG. Along with that you must also have 1 Abyss cell, 5 Cogwheel, 5 small batteries to make it.
How to Get Golden Star’s Component
Out of all the items, Golden Star’s Component will take some of your efforts because it is attached to a boss fight. You will defeat Golden Star Dragon as part of main story quest Foreboding Shadow during chapter 11. Your best shot in defeating Golden Star is by using Kuku Flame Resistant Armor, because his attacks are fire based.
The is a three-part quest, the first part “Master Of a Forgotten Land” is linked to defeating Golden Star Dragon to get its component.
How to Get Aeserion’s Scale
It’s not that difficult to get Aeserion’s Scale. Go to Dagger head Monolith location on the map, a small floating island of ruins. Once you reach there, there is a giant Dragon defending it and you don’t have to fight him to get Aeserion’s Scale.
The place is full of the required items so make your way and seal it in.
How to Get Power Core – Ore of Resipiscence
And lastly, you need Power core – Ore of Resipiscence to craft Abyssal Fusion in Crimson Desert. This is a rare item that drops by specific Abyss creatures or enemies. Their location isn’t marked on the map which makes it a bit difficult to find them.
There is one to the southeast direction in the Ironwood. For Reference i have marked the exact location on the map. Once you reach close enough a stone worm type creature will emerge from ground. Use long ranges attack to easily defeat it and get the Power Core- Ore of Resipiscence.
Make sure to save it before starting the fight because in case you don’t get the power core as drop you can load the fight again.
Use the Axiom Force skill to seal it in your Kuku Pot.
Once you have all the crafting items for Abyssal Fusion, head back to Grmnir’s shop to make it and complete the quest Wings of Iron: Decipher the Records Analyzed by the Witches in Crimson Desert
