If you are interested in haunting horrors with a bit of mystery, then ReAnimal is for you. There are two possible endings for the game; one that is the regular one with no pre-requisites and the other that requires you to collect all 5 Coffins. You must collect all these coffins in a single run that means all chapter in a go. These coffins are easily missable and you miss one you will have to start a new game and start again.
Once all the 5 coffins are collected the ghosts reunite with the girl revealing a secret ending, along with that you also earn a trophy Friends Reunited.

All Coffin Locations in ReAnimal
As the location is hidden and you might miss it while completing 9 chapters, so here’s a detailed description of each location to make things a bit easy for you to unlock an alternate ending in ReAnimal.
Coffin Location #1
The first coffin is found early in the game during chapter 1 near the minecart rail. Go across the bridge and get off the cart once you cross the broken train rail.
On your right side there is a wrecked train on this sidetrack, go to the other side using the door on the wrecked train and you will find first Coffin in ReAnimal.
Coffin Location #2
The second coffin is in the first area when you leave the boat in Chapter 3. After picking up the harpoons (throwing spears) take the boat and throw harpoons at the mines that are blocking the path.
After clearing the first broken path throw arrows at the enemies to make your way ahead. Take the next right from where there is a dead body lying on stone.
Head straight ahead and blast the mines on the left in front of the small building to clear a path across.
Once you leave the boat, you will see a door with light coming from inside. Go through the door, walk down the stairs, and you will find the second coffin at the bottom of the stairs (for reference see the images above)
Coffin Location #3
You will get third coffin in ReAnimal during chapter 3 and not so far from where you get the second coffin. When you leave the hotel you will see a large Cannon in the sea from that there is a small cave to its right. This is easily missable coffin location due to the fog around.
In the cave you will get the third coffin.
If by any chance you miss this one during your first visit in the area, you can also get this coffin during chapter 6 after killing Mother at the clock tower.
Coffin Location #4
During Chapter 4 you will unlock clocktower where you will get the fourth coffin in ReAnimal. Once you leave the cannon area where you get the third coffin, you will head in a bus to the next area with clocktower.
Progress through the main story normally until you reach a point where your friend falls into a small room. Before pulling him up by using lever head to the room in the bottom left corner of the camera view. Enter the room to get the fourth and the second last coffin.
Once you get the coffin then do whatever is needed to end the chapter 4 in ReAnimal.
Don’t pull the lever to your right otherwise this coffin location wont be revealed.
Coffin Location #5
The last coffin is near the end of chapter 7 inside exploding hospital. There will be soldiers on beds who use grenades to cause an explosion. Run across the exploding soldiers through the hallway. Once you reach a corridor with a wheel chair moving beside you there is explosion behind you in that corridor before going ahead turn around and there will be a hole in the wall.
There is a bunker door in the room behind the wall, interact with the lever to open the bunker and use the ladder to go down. Interact with the last coffin at the bottom and you will unlock a secret ending in ReAnimal.
What Happens After Collecting All the Coffins in ReAnimal
After getting all the coffins finish all the chapters and after a cutscene when the name of the appears it is the end for the players who doesn’t have all the 5 coffins.
But for the ones like me there is an additional cutscene where all the five ghosts gather around you.
